About this Game
Frogun Encore is a 3D platformer clearly inspired by the PS1 and N64 consoles. You play as Renata, a young girl whose parents are world-renowned explorers. During an expedition, they forbid her from participating, deeming it too dangerous. A premonition emerges: they themselves are lost, and it falls to Renata to find her parents.
Frogun Encore’s gameplay revolves around adventure, puzzles, and platforming. You control Renata, who overcomes obstacles and solves puzzles using a grappling gun. Because the game is centered on this grappling system, jumping is quite limited compared to other platformers. Renata can’t jump far or high; there’s no double jump, and navigation largely depends on mastering the grappling hook.
The game is divided into five zones, each consisting of a series of levels, followed by a race and a boss fight. The zones vary in theme, ranging from icy levels to ancient, trap-filled volcanic levels. It’s classic platforming fare, and Frogun Encore excels at it.
