Tales from Candleforth is a 2D point-and-click adventure game that blends horror and adventure. Inspired by folktales, the game reimagines them in a unique and unsettling way to deliver a thrilling and suspenseful gaming experience on Nintendo Switch.

The game’s world is marked by strange events in the village of Candleforth, fueled by sinister local legends. One day, cryptic words appear on the pages of storybooks, distorting the old tales in disturbing ways. At the start of the game, we meet Sarah, a 16-year-old girl who has been running the family pharmacy on her own since her grandmother’s disappearance. Until the day Sarah discovers that her grandmother is still alive, but mysteriously imprisoned somewhere in the village. Sarah is convinced her family is hiding a forbidden book filled with dark secrets. She’s determined to uncover the truth and save her grandmother.

The gameplay and controls are very simple. Just tap the screen to perform actions or activate elements. Clues appear when you tap the right spots. Then, you must piece together the information you’ve gathered to solve puzzles and progress through the levels. The game is divided into 6 chapters with interconnected stories.
