The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess – Switch Native Port (Vulkan)
This release is based on the open-source native decompilation/re-implementation by TwilitRealm, featuring a Vulkan API port for Nintendo Switch by givethesourceplox.
Included Content:
- Original ROM: European PAL GameCube version in RVZ format (Zstandard Level 19, 128 KB Block Size).
- Translated ROM: Russian translation by Zelda64rus (v2.0, Feb 7, 2015).
- Optional Textures: HD Texture Pack ZTP 4K 3.0c (1080p) by Henriko Magnifico (~13,800 files, 2.2 GB).
Technical Notes:
Access Menu: Press the “—” (Minus) button to open Settings and Cheats.
Optimization: For the best performance, use maximum overclocking. In the in-game menu, go to Settings > Video and set:
Internal Resolution: 540p
Shadow Resolution: 1x
Unlock Framerate: Off
Status: This is an early homebrew release; bugs and performance stutters may occur.
Installation Guide:
- Copy Data: Copy the dusk folder to the root of your microSD card.
- Install NSP: Install the file Dusk Twilight Princess [01a43f49196b0000].nsp using your preferred tool (e.g., DBI).
- Launch Game: Open the app and select “Select Disk Image”. Navigate to the disk folder and choose either the translated .iso or the original .rvz file.
- Play: Press the Play button to start.
Optional (HD Textures): To install the 1080p HD textures by Henriko Magnifico, extract Optional HD Textures ZTP 4K 3.0c (1080p).7z to the root of your Switch microSD card.
