About this Game

Persona 5 Tactica takes place after the events of the original Persona 5, but before Persona 5 Strikers. You will bring together the psychic thieves in the weeks before the Joker’s departure from Tokyo. One day, while they are in Leblanc, the building begins to shake, and the front door transforms into a French Revolution-style fairy tale world where they join a group of local rebels to overthrow Queen Maria. This all-new journey takes the Psychic Thieves across multiple realms, teaming up with local revolutionaries and overthrowing their corrupt rulers.

Combat in Persona 5 Tactica is simple and mostly involves finding cover on the battlefield. It looks more like Mario + Rabbids and XCOM than Fire Emblem or Devil Survivor. The battle takes place on a square grid-based map. You can choose up to 3 characters to use melee combat, guns, and Persona.

There are basically three states you can be in at the end of your turn: fully hidden, meaning any enemies attacking you from the direction you’re hiding can’t hit you; partially behind cover, meaning they can hit you but you take less damage; and not in cover, if you get hit, it means you are seriously injured and the attacker gets an extra turn.

Persona 5 Tactica brings a breath of fresh air to the popular Persona franchise. The game uses the basic elements that made the franchise successful, but combines them with many new gameplay mechanics and excellent graphics and sound.
